We are bringing a little bit of our winter passion to the park in the summer and hosting the inaugural Summer Classic in Central Park.

Location: Bandshell adjacent to Rumsey Playing field - Central Park

The eight teams will compete in a round robin hockey tournament. This action packed sport event is a Canada Day in London favourite and will also be in New York. The puck drops at 10:30am and games carry on throughout the afternoon.

Be sure to come cheer on your favourite team for the bronze and gold medal games starting at 5:15pm with the cup presentation to immediately follow.

Five Hole for Food (FHFF) is a national, volunteer-driven, social-profit organization with a bold, enterprising, and entrepreneurial approach aimed at raising food and awareness for a cause that affects 10.8 million Canadians a year. Over the past three years, FHFF has raised in excess of 200,000 pounds of food in support of local food banks across Canada. Armed with national partners, the unwavering support of over 40 volunteers, and an identity borne from social media, FHFF is bringing together communities across Canada by using hockey as a vehicle for social change, and reaching a new generation of social entrepreneurs. FHFF is out to prove that a generation hungry for change, an engaged corporate community, and a national pastime is the perfect formula for changing the face of fundraising.
